Residential Art Trip
The 2018 Swanage residential trip to the beautiful, serene Jurassic Coastline gave all new year 1 students at ISCA a variety of creative challenges. Over the course of three days, the group worked on a variety of drawings, paintings and installations from primary observation, while also developing outcomes for the new theme: Time is Change. Delivered by ISCA tutors, each workshop took place at different locations including Swanage beach and town, Durlston Country Park, Durlston Castle and Corfe Castle.
Tutors were very impressed by the hard work and enthusiasm of all students, with many drawing from the moment the coach left the campus! Other activities included evening sewing groups, sports activities and prizes for drawing and experimentation. On arrival back at ISCA, the group reflected on a residential trip filled with acquiring new skills and forming strong friendships.
