Scholarship Prizes in 2019
At the end of each academic year, ISCA awards generous scholarships to deserving first year students. The scholarships take the form of a significant reduction in tuition fees.
In 2019, Valeriya Lyubkina received the Scholarship For Academic Excellence in Art and Design. In her work, Valeriya demonstrates a real and palpable interest in exploring ideas, experimenting with media is excited by discovering new ways of making artwork. As well as working in an excellent and sustained way, Valeriya set herself high standards and showed superb potential.
Wing Chi Lau was the worthy recipient of the Scholarship for Extraordinary Studio-Based Practice in recognition of her exciting work. She created outcomes in a highly experimental way and showed a genuine commitment to creative studies.
The Scholarship for Exceptional Endeavour was awarded to Prem Tangtrongwattana who made excellent progress during the first year. His mature and conscientious attitude meant that he worked consistently well to produce work of a high standard.
Mely Itzae Montemaor Ayala received the Ambassador Scholarship for her outstanding contribution to the School. Mely showed herself to be a real team player, supportive of others, who worked to bring the community together.
The Scholarship for Excellent Visual Literacy was awarded to Dingning Hu who brought an impressive depth of knowledge and enthusiasm to all her work.
The scholarships are awarded after careful consideration by all tutors and the prize-giving took place during the graduation ceremony and end of year show in May.
