Curriculum
A Level Programme
This two-year course is open to UK and international students who have a firm grasp of the English language and have been taught some art and design at school.
Designed by University of the Arts London, the course benefits from regular talks and workshops by leading lecturers and artists, and aims to prepare our students for the Central Saint Martins Foundation Plus course and a degree course at University of the Arts London, or if preferred, another UK university.
Students have the option of choosing two or more of the following subjects at A Level with a minimum five hours tuition for each chosen subject per week:
- Fine Art (Drawing, Painting, Printmaking, Sculpture)
- Photography
- Textiles
- Graphic Design
The following subjects will also be on offer for 2010-2011:
- English Language (A Level or preparation for IELTS)
- ICT Business Studies (A Level)
- IT/Computing (A Level or general study)
In addition to the set curriculum, our Enrichment Programme offers an opportunity for students to learn additional skills and develop a wider understanding of their chosen subjects outside of the classroom.

Portfolio Programme
This one-year course is designed for international or UK students that possess the relevant qualifications needed for university but lack the body of work and required portfolio for a creative course. The School provides English language teaching for international students with limited English.
Combining studio and workshop practice with one Art A-level subject, the course provides ample resources in order to prepare student portfolios for the Foundation Diploma at UAL, or if preferred, at another UK university.

The Portfolio Programme also offers an Enrichment Programme that provides additional resources and learning to enable our students to develop a wider set of skills and stronger body of work.
